With the permission and input of August Wilson’s widow, Costanza Romero, Steven Sapp, Mildred Sapp, Gamal Chasten and William Ruiz of Universes spoke and sang August Wilson’s unpublished poetry.
Goodman Theatre’s Willa J. Taylor and Chuck Smith also presented Chicago Youth Poets Donna Gary and AJ Smith, both seniors at Whitney M. Young Magnet High School and Kristyn Zoe, senior at Chicago High School for the Arts.
